2024 LIV Golf Hong Kong: Best Draftkings Player Selections

This week, the LIV Golf Tour travels to the Hong Kong Golf Club for the 2024 LIV Golf Hong Kong event. Let’s take a look at this event from a Draftkings perspective.

A stacked field of talent, including 2020 Masters champion Dustin Johnson, will battle for the right to hoist the winner’s trophy on Sunday afternoon.

LIV Golf Hong Kong Draftkings Player Selections

Tyrrell Hatton $9,500

Since the beginning of November, Tyrrell Hatton has played seven events (DP World, PGA, and LIV Golf Tours combined). In those seven tournaments just noted, Hatton accumulated six top-15 finishes, including an eighth-place result at the 2024 LIV Golf Mayakoba event last month.

Due to Tyrrell Hatton’s quality finish at the LIV Golf Mayakoba event, I decided to take a hard look at the players’ statistics to see how Hatton fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of play at the 2024 LIV Golf Mayakoba Invitational, Hatton ranked seventh in total birdies (15), 13th in scrambling (68.18%), and third in putting average (1.43).

Dean Burmester $8,900

Dean Burmester arrives at this week’s LIV Golf Tour event in rather good form. Burmester has accumulated five top-15 finishes in his last seven tournaments played (DP World and LIV Golf Tours combined) including two wins at the 2023 South Africa Championship and the 2023 Joburg Open.

Charles Howell III $8,500

Charles Howell III has accumulated two top six finishes in his last three LIV Golf Tour events played, including a sixth place result at the 2024 LIV Golf Las Vegas event four weeks ago.

David Puig $7,600

The talented Spaniard arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of three consecutive top 15 finishes (LIV Golf and Asian Tours combined), including a win at the 2024 Malaysian Open four weeks ago.

For me, Puig presents outstanding DFS value at the relatively low Draftkings price of $7,600.

Anirban Lahiri $7,000

Last week, Anirban Lahiri fired a final round 66 at the 2024 Jeddah event en route to an eventual fifth place finish.

I also like the fact that Lahiri arrives on the Draftkings slate at the low cost price of only $7,000.
