NBA Draftkings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups – 5/9/2024

NBA Draftkings Fantasy Lineup
May 9, 2024 9:00 pm EDT

There are only two NBA games taking place on Thursday but there is still enough value to build solid NBA DraftKings daily fantasy basketball lineups. Let’s take a look at some players that you should be considering when you are building your lineup.

Point Guard

Jalen Williams ($7600)

Jalen Williams has been a standout for Oklahoma City Thunder, and he still hasn’t gotten enough attention for how well he has played. In each of the Thunder’s last five games, Williams has finished with at least 34.25 fantasy points. In two of the last three games, Williams has finished with at least 43.75 fantasy points. Williams is going to have a big game here and crush value.

Payton Pritchard ($4100)

There isn’t a ton of value with point guards on Thursday, but if you are looking for someone, Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard makes a ton of sense. In the first game of the series, he put up 27.25 fantasy points in 24 minutes. Pritchard has been a bit inconsistent, but if you are looking for cheap, he is where you should look.

Shooting Guard

Donovan Mitchell ($8800)

I thought Donovan Mitchell was going to struggle in the first game, but he didn’t, and even at $8800 it’s hard to imagine he doesn’t hit value. Mitchell played 37 minutes, and he put up 50.5 fantasy points. The Boston Celtics don’t have anyone to slowdown Mitchell, and he’s going to have another big game here.

Small Forward

Aaron Wiggins ($4000)

The Oklahoma City Thunder have finally figured out that the team is best when Aaron Wiggins is involved, and he should get plenty of playing time again here. In the first game of the series, he put up 29.75 fantasy points in 23 minutes. Wiggins is a bit risky, but usually, a person is when the salary is only $4000. Wiggins is worth the risk at a low price point.

Power Forward

Al Horford ($5700)

Al Horford is a good cash game option, but someone you should probably stay away from in a GPP. In the first game of this series, Horford played 27 minutes and finished with 25.5 fantasy points. With Kristaps Porziņģis out, Hortford has been playing more minutes and he has been finding success. Horford might not put up 50 fantasy points here, but he should finish right around 25 and 30 fantasy points.

Center

Evan Mobley ($7700)

Even if Jarrett Allen is back, I still think Evan Mobley should find plenty of success in this game. In Game 1 against the Boston Celtics, he played 32 minutes and had 40.75 fantasy points in 32 minutes. He has been grabbing a ton of rebounds, and he will continue that here. If Allen is back, I would wish his salary is a little lower, but I will still have him in lineups, even if Allen plays on Thursday night.

Daniel Gafford ($4900)

Daniel Gafford had his best game of the postseason in Game 1 putting up 16 points, 11 rebounds, five blocks, and one assist. Gafford might not have five blocks again in this game, but he’s going to have another huge fantasy performance and should be in all your lineups on Thursday.
