This week, the LPGA travels to Ohio for the 2022 Dana Open.
Before I discuss my favorite tournament matchup bet for the 2022 Dana Open let’s take a look at the top five players in scoring average on the LPGA Tour that are in this week’s field.

Now that we have determined who the top five golfers with regard to scoring average are on the LPGA Tour (in this week’s field) let’s shift our attention to my favorite tournament matchup bet for this week’s 2022 Dana Open.
Lydia Ko -120 over Minjee Lee
Since the beginning of May, Lydia Ko has played ten tournaments on the LPGA Tour. In those ten tournaments just noted, Ko has accumulated an impressive nine top 12 finishes, including a fourth place finish at last week’s 2022 CP Women’s Open.
Lydia Ko also checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Since 2013, Lydia Ko has played the Dana Open six times. In those six tournaments just noted, Lydia Ko has accumulated five top seven finishes, including two wins (2014, 2016).
Lydia Ko ranks second in putts per GIR (1.73), second in total birdies made (276), second in sand save percentage (65.67%), and second in scoring average (69.49) on the LPGA Tour.
In summary, I am backing Lydia Ko to defeat Minjee Lee in this tournament matchup bet.
