This week, the Korn Ferry Tour travels to Idaho for the 2021 Albertsons Boise Open.

Before I dive into my favorite golf bets for this week’s Korn Ferry Tour event let’s take a quick look at the golf course the field will play and the key statistics that I feel are the most important to a golfer’s success this week.

The 2021 Albertsons Boise Open will be played at the Hillcrest Country Club in Boise, Idaho. This course is a par 71 that measures approximately 6,880 yards. This course will be played at approximately 3,000 feet above sea level. For those readers that are not aware, that means the golf ball will certainly travel further this week. This track features three par 5 holes that are reachable for the golfer that can hit the ball accurately from the fairway.

Stephan Jaeger won the 2020 Albertsons Boise Open with a four round cumulative score of 22 under par. Having stated that, I think that the golfer that eventually wins this week’s Boise Open will post a four round score of at least 20 under par.

The key player player statistics that I will be focusing on this week are GIR (greens in regulation), driving accuracy, strokes gained approach, three putt avoidance, and strokes gained putting.

Now let’s shift our focus to my favorite golf bets for the 2021 Albertsons Boise Open.

Here is a golfer to consider placing on your card to win.

Mark Hubbard +3300

The current 195th ranked golfer in OWGR (Official World Golf Rankings) plays the majority of his professional golf on the PGA Tour. Hubbard arrives at this week’s Korn Ferry Tour event in relatively good form. Hubbard has two top 20 finishes in his last four tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a 16th place result at the 2021 3M Open.

Hubbard is currently ranked third in total birdies (347), third in three putt avoidance, and fifth in par three scoring (2.98) on the PGA Tour.

It should also be noted that Hubbard finished fourth at the 2019 Albertsons Boise Open.

Here is a golfer to consider placing on your card to finish in the top 20.

Justin Lower +300

The 32 year old American has played eight tournaments on the Korn Ferry Tour since the beginning of June. In those eight events just mentioned, Lower has accumulated five top 28 finishes, including a second place result at the BMW Charity Pro-Am.

Lower also checks the box for me when it comes to event/course history. Justin Lower has played the Albertsons Boise Open three times since 2018. In those three tournaments just mentioned, Lower has three top 25 finishes, including a fourth place result at the 2020 Albertsons Boise Open.

Justin Lower is currently ranked tenth in GIR (greens in regulation-73.44%), ninth in par five scoring average (4.52), and 22nd in scrambling (62.97%) on the Korn Ferry Tour.
