2024 Alfred Dunhill Championship Draftkings Picks

Christiaan Bezuidenhout $10,500

The talented South African has accumulated three top 22 finishes in his last five events played (DP World and PGA Tours combined), including a sixth-place result at last week’s 2024 Nedbank Challenge.

Christiaan Bezuidenhout also checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Let me be more specific. Since 2018, Bezuidenhout has played this week’s DP World Tour event five times. In those five tournaments just mentioned, Christiaan Bezuidenhout accumulated four top 26 finishes, including a win at the 2020 Alfred Dunhill Championship.

Adrian Otaegui $8,500

Adrian Otaegui arrives at this week’s event on the heels of two consecutive top 24 finishes on the DP World Tour, including a 13th place result at the 2024 DP World Tour Championship three weeks ago.

It should also be noted that Adrian Otaegui has posted a quality result at the Leopard Creek Country Club in the past. More specifically, Otaegui finished second at the 2023 Alfred Dunhill Championship.

Andy Sullivan $8,300

Andy Sullivan has tallied four top 27 finishes in his last six tournaments played on the DP World Tour, including an 18th place result at the 2024 BMW PGA Championship in September.

Due to Andy Sullivan’s outstanding finish at the 2024 BMW PGA Championship I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the event to see how Sullivan fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2024 BMW PGA Championship, in relation to the field, Andy Sullivan ranked 12th in strokes gained approach (1.16), eighth in GIR (greens in regulation-73.61), and 20th in strokes gained tee to green (0.94).

Similar to Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Andy Sullivan has played well at this week’s event previously. Sullivan finished seventh at the 2023 Alfred Dunhill Championship.

Sam Bairstow $7,500

Sam Bairstow has compiled two top 14 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the DP World Tour, including an impressive second place result at the 2024 FedEx Open de France Championship in October.
