Where will the Omega European Masters be played?

The 2025 Omega European Masters will be played at the Crans-Sur-Sierre Golf Club in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. The golf course is a par 70 that measures approximately 6,823 yards. It should be noted that this golf course is approximately 5,000 feet above sea level.

Matt Fitzpatrick $10,800

Matt Fitzpatrick has amassed five top eight finishes in his last seven tournaments (PGA and DP World Tours combined), including a sixth-place result at last week’s 2025 Betfred British Masters.

Due to Matt Fitzpatrick’s quality finish at the 2025 Betfred British Masters, I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the event to determine how Fitzpatrick fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2025 Betfred British Masters, in relation to the field, Matt Fitzpatrick ranked sixth in total strokes gained (2.64), 20th in driving distance (309.8), 16th in strokes gained tee to green (1.90) and 13th in strokes gained around the green (1.00).

Matt Fitzpatrick certainly checks the box for me when it comes to a previous event/course perspective. Let me be more specific. Since 2015, Fitzpatrick has played the Omega European Masters seven times. In those seven tournaments just noted, Fitzpatrick tallied five top seven finishes, including two wins (2017, 2018).

Rasmus Hojgaard $9,600

Rasmus Hojgaard arrives at this week’s event on the heels of two consecutive top 13 finishes on the DP World Tour, including a second-place result at the 2025 Danish Golf Championship two weeks ago. Additionally, Hojgaard won the 2021 Omega European Masters.

Jordan Smith $8,900

Last month, Jordan Smith fired a final round 67 at the 2025 BMW International Open en route to an eventual second place result. Smith also finished 12th at the 2024 Omega European Masters.

Marcel Schneider $7,600

It is noteworthy that Jason Scrivener has played well at the Crans-Sur-Sierre Golf Club in the past. Scrivener finished fourth at the 2024 Omega European Masters.
