The Kia Tigers and LG Twins face off on Friday in a KBO baseball showdown at Gwangju Kia Champions Field. These are two teams who look to be heading in different directions.

The Kia Tigers come into this game with a 20-27 record overall which puts them in 8th place in the KBO standings. The Kia Tigers come into this game with a 1-1 record overall and in the last game against the Hanwha Eagles, they were able to win 5-3. At times, the Kia Tigers offense has really struggled and they need the offense to be better. Hyoung-woo Choi has been the best player for the Kia Tigers and coming into this game he has hit four home runs and driven in 15 RBI’s.

On the other side of this matchup is the LG Twins who sit with 27 wins and 22 losses which puts them in 3rd place in the KBO. The LG Twins have gone 1-1 so far this week and in the last game against KT Wiz Suwon, they were able to win 6-5. Hyun-soo Kim has been the best player for the LG Twins and coming into this game he has hit eight home runs and driven in 33 RBI’s. Roberto Ramos has also been strong this year hitting seven home runs and driving in 21 RBI’s.

Min-ho Lee will get the start for the LG Twins and coming into this game he sits with 3-3 record and an ERA of 5.45.

Gi-yeong Im will get the start for the Kia Tigers and coming into this game he sits with a 1-2 record and an ERA of 5.48.

The weather in this game is expected to be mostly cloudy with a 7-10 mile per hour wind blowing out towards right field.

These are two teams who have given up plenty of runs and that is going to be the case again in this game. Look for both teams to run up the score and that will be the difference as this game goes over the total.
