Lotte Giants vs. Doosan Bears – 5/30/20 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

2020-05-30 04:00:00 EDT

The Doosan Bears and Lotte Giants meet Saturday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.

The Doosan Bears look for another victory after winning five of their last eight games. The Doosan Bears allowed just two runs on 10 hits to take the first game of this series and have allowed two runs in two of their last three games. In their last effort, Hur Kyoung-min and Park Kun-woo combined for three hits and three RBI while Raul Alcántara allowed two runs and nine hits in six innings of work. The Doosan Bears have won 10 of their last 16 games overall. Lee Young-ha gets the ball tonight for the Doosan Bears.

The Lotte Giants could use a win after losing four of their last six games. The Lotte Giants have produced a combined four runs and 28 hits in their last three games, showing they’re just not getting the big hit to open up a game and get out of this funk. In the latest effort, Son Ah-seop and Dixon Machado combined for two hits and two RBI while Noh Kyung-eun allowed three runs and four hits in six innings of work. The Lotte Giants have lost 11 of their last 16 games overall. Seo Jun-won gets the ball tonight for the Lotte Giants.

The Doosan Bears have won six of the last seven meetings against the Lotte Giants. Six of the last eight meetings between the Bears and Giants have produced double-digit run totals.

The Lotte Giants went from a team we blindly back and make a profit to a team we blindly fade and aren’t scoring runs at all. The Lotte Giants have little to no betting value when they’re not scoring runs and that’s the case right now. The Doosan Bears are back to crushing the baseball and they’re one of the more dangerous teams in the league with wins in 10 of their last 16 games.

Backing the Lotte Giants isn’t an option when they’re not scoring runs. I’ll side with the Bears and the somewhat reasonable price.
