Lotte Giants vs. Kiwoom Heroes – 6/18/20 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Kiwoom Heroes and Lotte Giants meet Thursday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.    

The Kiwoom Heroes could use a feel good victory here after losing four of their last seven games. The Kiwoom Heroes have allowed a combined 19 runs and 32 hits in their last three games. In their last effort, Lee Jung-hoo and Kim Ha-seong combined for five hits and two RBI while Choi Won-tae allowed three runs and nine hits in 6.2 innings of work. The Kiwoom Heroes have won 11 of their last 17 games overall. Lee Seung-ho gets the ball tonight for the Kiwoom Heroes.  

The Lotte Giants look to stay hot after winning eight of their last 11 games. The Lotte Giants have produced a combined 16 runs and 35 hits in their last three games and have scored five or more runs in seven of their last nine games. In the latest effort, Jeon Jun-woo and Lee Dae-ho combined for two hits and three RBI while Seo Jun-won allowed two runs and four hits in five innings of work. The Lotte Giants have lost 18 of their last 32 games overall. Dan Straily gets the ball tonight for the Lotte Giants.  

The Kiwoom Heroes have won 10 of their last 13 meetings against the Lotte Giants, but they’ve lost three of the five meetings this year. Seven of the last 11 meetings between the Heroes and Giants have produced single-digit run totals.

The Kiwoom Heroes have owned the h2h history over the years, but it’s the Lotte Giants who are playing the better baseball right now and have been consistent on the offensive end. The Lotte Giants are one of the scarier teams in the league when the bats are hot, and we’ve seen them pile up the victories rather quickly. Dan Straily has also done well up to this point in the KBO, allowing 11 earned runs in 47.2 innings while 50 batters and walking just 17 batters. The Giants should like their chances entering the rubber game of this series.
