The Samsung Lions look for a big victory here to snap a three-game losing streak. The Samsung Lions have allowed a combined 18 runs and 32 hits in their last three games. In their latest effort, Tyler Saladino and Kim Heon-gon combined for three hits and three RBI while Won Tae-in allowed six runs and six hits in five innings of work. The Samsung Lions have won 13 of their last 22 games overall. Baek Jung-hyun gets the ball tonight for the Samsung Lions.    

The Samsung Lions have won four of their last eight meetings against the KIA Tigers, but they have lost the last three meetings. Four of the last 10 meetings between the Lions and Tigers have produced double-digit run totals. 

The KIA Tigers have been one of the hotter teams in the league over the last month and have won eight of their last 10 games while the pitching staff has been downright dealing. The Samsung Lions have struggled over the last few days and their pitching staff has been stinking up the joint. The Samsung Lions have been kind to us in the underdog role at times this season, but you have to really pick their spots because they can go on a stretch where it’s nothing but ugly baseball. There’s nothing we’ve seen in this series or over the last couple of weeks to bet against the KIA Tigers.
