Hanwha Eagles vs. KT Wiz Suwon – 9/13/20 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

2020-09-13 01:00:00 EDT

The KT Wiz Suwon and Hanwha Eagles meet Sunday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action at the Changwon NC Park.

The KT Wiz Suwon look for a win after winning nine of their last 13 games. The KT Wiz Suwon offense has produced four or more runs in 20 of their last 30 games. In their last effort, Hwang Jae-gyun and Kang Baek-ho combined for two hits and three RBI while So Hyeong-jun allowed two runs and six hits in 6.1 innings of work. The KT Wiz Suwon have won 11 of their last 18 games overall. Bae Je-seong gets the ball tonight for the KT Wiz Suwon.

The Hanwha Eagles need a win after losing 12 of their last 16 games. The Hanwha Eagles pitching staff has allowed five or more runs in seven of their last 13 games. In their last effort, Choi Jae-hoon and Lim Jong-chan combined for two hits and two RBI while Kim Ee-whan allowed three runs and five hits in 4.1 innings of work. The Hanwha Eagles have lost 23 of their last 32 games overall. Chad Bell gets the ball tonight for the Hanwha Eagles.

The KT Wiz Suwon have won seven of the last nine meetings against the Hanwha Eagles. Seven of the last nine meetings against the Wiz Suwon and Eagles have produced single-digit run totals.

Bae Je-seong has a 4.75 ERA and 1.55 WHIP this season through 96.2 innings, and he’s allowed four or more earned runs in four of his last six starts. Chad Bell has a 5.88 ERA and 1.55 WHIP this season through 75 innings, and he’s allowed eight runs and 11 hits in his last 10.2 innings. The KT Wiz Suwon should be the favorite for obvious reasons, as they’re playing the better baseball overall and the Hanwha Eagles have been fade material all season long. However, this pitching matchup isn’t worth getting involved with, especially with serious juice on one side. I’m leaning toward the over, as both these pitchers can get rocked.

We’re not used to seeing high scoring games between these teams, but I’ll still take the over.
