Samsung Lions vs. LG Twins – 9/13/20 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

2020-09-13 01:00:00 EDT

The LG Twins and Samsung Lions meet Sunday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium.

The LG Twins look for a win after winning eight of their last 14 games. The LG Twins pitching staff has allowed five or more runs in 36 of their last 62 games. In their last effort, Roberto Ramos and Kim Hyun-soo combined for one hit and one RBI while Lim Chan-gyu allowed four runs and four hits in five innings of work. The LG Twins have won 16 of their last 26 games overall. Kim Yun-sik gets the ball tonight for the LG Twins.

The Samsung Lions need a victory here after losing 12 of their last 18 games. The Samsung Lions have allowed five or more runs in 18 of their last 34 games. In their latest effort, Daniel Palka and Kang Min-ho combined for three hits and four RBI while Ben Lively allowed on run and two hits in eight innings of work. The Samsung Lions have lost 15 of their last 22 games overall. Choi Chae-heung gets the ball tonight for the Samsung Lions.

The Samsung Lions have won six of the last nine meetings against the LG Twins. Six of the last eight meetings between the Twins and Lions have produced dobule-digit run totals.

Kim Yun-sik has a 6.55 ERA and 1.52 WHIP this season through 45.1 innings, and he’s allowed three or more earned runs in five of his last six starts. Choi Chae-heung has a 4.11 ERA and 1.40 WHIP this season through 92 innings, and he’s allowed two or less earned runs in seven of his last eight starts. The LG Twins are playing the better baseball overall, but it’s the Samsung Lions who have won six of the last nine meetings against LG and have a clear pitching edge in this contest. Choi Chae-heung doesn’t get a ton of run support when he’s on the hill, but he gives the Samsung Lions a real chance to win whenever he’s on the mound.

I’ll take my chances with the Samsung Lions and the plus money.
