The Los Angeles Angels and the Oakland Athletics meet Monday in MLB action from O.co Coliseum. The Angels are coming off a weekend series versus the Diamondbacks. After wins in the first two installments of that set, on Sunday LA kept it going with a seven-run victory. As for the A’s, they played the Royals in their last series. Los Angeles posted a 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks in the Friday opener, then took an 8-7 win on Saturday. In the Sunday finale, the Angels scored six in their first two innings during a 10-3 win. Patrick Sandoval managed 6.0 innings with four hits and two earned.
For the Monday starting pitcher job, the Angels will send out Dylan Bundy. Over 57.0 innings of work this year, Bundy has 59 hits, 40 runs (39 earned), 13 homers allowed, 15 walks, 55 Ks and a 6.16 ERA.
Over on the A’s side, they fell to the Royals 6-1 on Thursday but bounced back with wins 4-3 and 11-2 in the next two games. On Sunday, Oakland scored four runs in the first three innings during a 6-3 victory. Starter Chris Bassitt put up 5.2 innings with two earned on five hits.
For the Monday starter role, the A’s are sending out Sean Manaea. Across his 75.2 innings this year, Manaea has 72 hits, 26 earned runs, seven homers allowed, 18 walks, 73 Ks and a 3.09 ERA overall.

PICK: I’m sticking with the A’s in this one. Manaea has been great over his last two starts, tossing a combined 15.0 innings with just six hits, four walks, 11 strikeouts and no earned runs. Manaea has just two earned over his last four starts, a span totaling 26.2 innings. I like another solid outing out of him here in an Oakland victory.
