Houston Astros Betting Preview

The Houston Astros are 16-13 this season after they won games one and two by scores of 8-5 and 6-4. The projected starting pitcher for Houston is AJ Blubaugh, who is making his first MLB start.

The Detroit Tigers are 18-12 this year, and they have lost the first two games in this series. In their Game 2 loss, the Tigers led 2-0 in the fifth, but they fell apart in the sixth and seventh, before rallying for two runs in the ninth in the loss. Detroit recorded eight hits in the game, and they were led by Torres, who went 3-5 with one home run and three RBIs in the loss. Astros vs Tigers Prediction

Houston has won the first two games in this series, and they will be going for the series sweep here, but Detroit has the pitching advantage. The Tigers are going with Jobe, who has allowed two earned runs or fewer in three straight starts. Houston is going with Blubaugh, who is making his first MLB start. This Detroit lineup has been very solid this year, and I think it is a very tough draw for Blubaugh’s first start. Take Detroit to get the big win here and avoid the sweep.
