The Dodgers have scored 28 runs since the all star break, for an average of 5.6 runs per game. Freddie Freeman leads the Dodgers with 121 hits and 64 RBI, while Mookie Betts and J.D. Martinez have combined for 179 hits and 131 RBI. The Dodgers have won 8 straight games when scoring more than 1 run.

You’d think that success will continue against an Orioles starting pitcher in Dean Kremer who has a 4.59 ERA and 1.33 WHIP on the season. At home, Kremer has a 5.07 ERA and .252 allowed batting average. 

Julio Urias Turning The Corner 

Julio Urias has been subpar this season with his 4.35 ERA, which would be his second-worst ERA of his career. However, Urias is coming off 6 shutout innings against the Mets, where he allowed just 1 run and had 7 strikeouts. Also, despite not being himself, the Dodgers have won 5 of his 7 starts since May. Maybe missing the entire month of June did good for Urias mentally. The Dodgers are 26-7 in the last 33 games Urias has pitched when you include last year’s playoffs.

When you combine the Dodgers offense and what Urias looked like his last time out, it’s hard to bet against the Dodgers in this spot. The Dodgers are steamrolling offensively, and they usually don’t lose when Urias is on the mound, regardless of how he’s pitching. Kremer has also been a mess at home this season and isn’t lighting the world on fire overall. Give me the Dodgers and the reasonable price, as they complete the sweep on the road while making a statement to the rest of the league.
