Boston Red Sox vs Oakland Athletics Prediction

Boston comes into this game playing like one of the best teams in baseball over the last two months, but they did lose game two on Wednesday. The Red Sox are just 21-24 at home, while the Athletics are 13-34 on the road this year. Boston is starting Tanner Houck, who has great numbers on the season and should be able to limit this Oakland offense. The A’s are going with Luis Medina, who has a very elevated WHIP, but he has done a great job of limiting runs in his last four starts. Oakland plays their best baseball at home, but I can’t trust them on the road here, especially with them going up against Houck. My Boston Red Sox vs Oakland Athletics prediction is for the Red Sox to win by at least two runs.
