The Texas Rangers and the Cleveland Guardians meet Sunday in MLB action from Progressive Field. Here’s a Cleveland Guardians vs Texas Rangers prediction. This will be the final installment in a three-game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Guardians vs Rangers pick.
Texas Rangers Betting Preview
In their last set the Rangers took on the Pittsburgh Pirates. Texas lost 4-0 in the middle game of that series but otherwise won the remaining pair. After a 5-3 win over the Guardians on Friday, in game two the Rangers fell in a 13-5 blowout.
For the starter role Sunday the Rangers are going with Cody Bradford. This year Bradford is 4-1 with a 3.56 ERA in eight games (seven starts). Bradford is 8-4 with a 4.55 ERA in 28 career games (15 starts).

Over on the Guardians’ side, they played the New York Yankees in their last set. Cleveland won 9-5 in the opener but then dropped the next pair. On Saturday the Guardians bagged 15 hits to the Rangers’ nine in the win.
It’ll be Matthew Boyd in the starter role for the Guardians Sunday. So far Boyd has a 3.38 ERA in two starts. Over his career Boyd is 44-67 with a 4.92 ERA.

Cleveland Guardians vs Texas Rangers Prediction
I’ll try the Rangers here. I could go either way though. Bradford is a tepid 1-1 in his last three starts but he hasn’t been pitching too badly. Over that trio Bradford has six earned in a total of 18.0 innings. As for Boyd, he’s coming off three earned in 5.1 innings against the Yankees.
On Saturday the Rangers didn’t have too bad of an offensive evening, but it hardly mattered after an 8-1 deficit by the third inning. Texas had a pretty rough pitching outing across the board, and it’s going to take a lot better than that to dig out a win Sunday.
