The Cleveland Indians and the Toronto Blue Jays meet in MLB action from Rogers Centre on Tuesday night.

The Cleveland Indians will look to build on their 5-2 win over Toronto from Monday afternoon. Jose Ramirez led the charge with two RBIs coming on a home run while Amed Rosario had three hits with an RBI and Harold Ramirez and Oscar Mercado each had an RBI as well to finish off the scoring for Cleveland in the win. Myles Straw added a pair of hits as well to finish off Cleveland’s offense as a team in the win. Eli Morgan allowed two runs on five hits with nine strikeouts in six innings of work, but it was Bryan Shaw that got the win in relief and Emmanuel Clase got the save to close out the deal. Zach Plesac will start here and is 6-3with a 4.26 ERA and 52 strikeouts this season.

The Toronto Blue Jays will look for the rebound after a disappointing loss to start their series with the Tribe on Monday. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.s home run accounted for both Toronto RBIs in the loss while Alejandro Kirk had a double. George Springer had a pair of hits and Marcus Semien added a base knock as well as the Jays had just six hits as a team in the loss. Robbie Ray allowed two runs on six hits while walking three and striking out four over six innings of work, not factoring in the decision. Brad Hand ended up with the loss in relief for the Blue Jays. Hyun Jin Ryu will start here and is 10-5 with a 3.26 ERA and 94 strikeouts this season.

Cleveland is 8-3in their last 11 Tuesday games and 4-10 in their last 14 games as a road underdog while the over is 23-5-2 in their last 30 games against a left-handed starter. Toronto is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall and 4-1 in their last 5 games as a favorite while the under is 8-1 in their last 9 games overall.

I’m not trying to lay this much juice with any team at home and the Indians did get the win in game one. However, in the Toronto market, I can tell you that the heat is on this team after being total buyers at the trade deadline and there are little opportunities to slip up if this Jays squad wants to make a playoff push. Ryu is the staff ace and he’s pitched really well for the most part as of late, so I’ll side with Toronto to get a bounce back win on the -1.5 run line here.
