Colorado Rockies vs Cincinnati Reds Prediction
I’ll probably take a stab on the Reds. Abbott needs a good bounce-back effort in this one, though. In his last start Abbott put up six earned runs on seven this and two walks in 6.0 innings during a loss to the Cardinals. Prior to that however, Abbott had just one earned run in 14.0 innings over two starts.
On Sunday the Reds had one big inning at the plate due in large part to TJ Friedl (three RBI). The bullpen was great as well with 3.0 clean frames, one hit and one walk. I like Cincinnati to keep things rolling on Monday if Abbott has a good start.
