The LA Dodgers and Colorado Rockies meet on Monday in MLB action from Dodger Stadium. Here’s a Dodgers vs Rockies prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Dodgers vs Rockies pick.

Rockies Offense Continues to be Awful

The Rockies should have one of the best offenses in baseball playing at Coors Field, but that couldn’t be any further from the case. On Sunday, the Rockies faced off against the San Diego Padres, and they managed a total of one run playing at Coors Field. Tanner Gordon was on the mound, and he went 3.2 innings giving up six hits and six runs. The pitching has been an issue, but more importantly, the offense has to find a way to be better.

The Rockies are averaging 3.79 runs while their pitching is giving up 6.38 runs per game. The offense is ranked 29th, while the pitching is ranked 30th. Getting the start for the Rockies is going to be Chase Dollander, who sits with a 2-12 record and an ERA of 6.77. In his last start against the San Francisco Giants, he went five innings, giving up five hits and six runs. He gave up two home runs, and he has to find a way to keep the ball in the ballpark in this one.

Another Win for the Dodgers

The Dodgers are clearly a World Series contender, and they picked up another win on Sunday. The Dodgers faced off against the Baltimore Orioles, and the pitching was good, on the way to the three run victory. Clayton Kershaw went 5.2 innings giving up four hits and two runs. He had eight strikeouts and one walk. Shohei Ohtani had a huge game and finished with two home runs and two RBIs.

The Dodgers are averaging 5.03 runs while their pitching is giving up 4.36 runs per game The offense is ranked 3rd while the pitching is ranked 17th. Ohtani has been hot and he has hit 48 home runs and driven in 90 RBIs. At the time this article was published, there wasn’t a starting pitcher announced yet.

Dodgers vs Rockies Prediction

Even without the Dodgers announcing a starting pitcher, I am fairly confident they are going to dominate this game. The Rockies continue to run out Dollander, who probably shouldn’t be on an MLB roster. In his last start he gave up six runs and two home runs, and that is going to be a major problem for them here. The Dodgers are a better offense than the Giants, and they are going to have no issue hitting a few home runs off him. This one is going to be a blowout. Back the Dodgers -2.5.
