Miami Marlins vs. San Francisco Giants
June 26, 2025 3:45 pm EDT

Major League Baseball presents FanDuel baseball fans with a National League matchup featuring the Miami Marlins and the San Francisco Giants. Let’s take a look at this MLB game from a DFS perspective.

Before we dive into the Miami Marlins vs. San Francisco Giants game let’s review the rules for the FanDuel single game showdown contest.

FanDuel Single Game Contest Rules

Here are the FanDuel single game contest rules. You have $60,000 to utilize on five players from either team. However, one of those players will be designated as your team MVP. The MVP accumulates 1.5x times the standard FanDuel fantasy points value. Additionally, the MVP is 1.5 times the standard cost of the flex position.

The remaining five players in your lineup will be flex plays. The five flex positions will receive the standard FanDuel points value. Having stated that, it is highly important for you to identify the correct player for your MVP position if you hope to win a large field GPP (guaranteed prize pool) FanDuel single game contest.

If you have additional questions regarding the rules for the single game contest, I highly recommend that you check out the FanDuel website for more details.

*It should be noted that FanDuel does not utilize the pitcher position in single game MLB contests. Having stated that, only batters are available for single game MLB lineups on the FanDuel platform.

Here are my FanDuel picks for today’s Marlins vs. Giants matchup.

FanDuel MLB DFS Picks

MVP-Heliot Ramos, Outfielder, San Francisco Giants $13,000

On Thursday afternoon, Major League Baseball presents the third game of a three-game National League series featuring the Miami Marlins and the San Francisco Giants.

How are these two teams playing entering today’s game? The San Francisco Giants arrive at the third game of this three-game series with the Miami Marlins playing subpar baseball. The Giants have lost seven of the team’s last ten games played in the 2025 MLB regular season, including a 6-5 loss to the Boston Red Sox Guardians six days ago.

Conversely, the Miami Marlins are playing good baseball entering the final game of this National League series. The Marlins have won four of the team’s last five games played in the 2025 MLB regular season, including a 5-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves four days ago.

Now that we have ascertained how both of these Major League Baseball teams are currently playing let’s turn our attention to this this afternoon’s contest. Outfielder Heliot Ramos has been a solid performer for the San Francisco Giants this season. Let’s examine the veteran outfielder’s recent game data to better shed light on my previous statement.

In the 76 games that first baseman Heliot Ramos has played for the San Francisco Giants in the 2025 MLB regular season, Ramos has compiled a rather impressive .282 batting average, 13 home runs, 29 walks, 39 RBIs (runs batted in), 48 runs scored, a .361 OBP (On-Base Percentage) and a .830 OPS (On-Base Plus Slugging).

More recently, in the San Francisco Giants 3-2 win over the Texas Rangers last month, Heliot Ramos certainly played at a high level. Let me be more specific. In the Giants victory over the Rangers, Ramos tallied two hits, one RBI, two runs scored and one stolen base. It should also be noted that in the Giants defeat of the Rangers, Ramos amassed 21.4 FanDuel points.

In my view, Heliot Ramos is the most likely player to accumulate the most FanDuel points in this MLB game. For that specific reason, I am backing San Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos at the MVP position for this one game MLB DFS slate.

Flex plays I like in this game (FanDuel price noted): Rafael Devers, Third Baseman (San Francisco Giants) $14,600: Connor Norby, Third Baseman (Miami Marlins) $6,600: Willy Adames, Shortstop (San Francisco Giants) $9,200.
