Astros vs Rangers Prediction

These two division rivals have split the first two games in this series and they will go for the series win here. Houston has really struggled to start this season, but three of their five wins this year have been against Texas. The Rangers have played very well in Houston over the last two seasons and they will be starting Nathan Eovaldi, who has allowed three earned and 11 hits over 18.2 innings pitched this season. Houston will turn to Cristian Javier, who has allowed two earned runs and 10 hits over 16.1 innings this year. This should be a great pitching matchup, but both of these offenses can explode in a hurry. I do think the pitchers will be able to hold things down for the most part, but I am going to take Houston at home to build off of the momentum from Saturday. Take the Astros here.
