I’m on the White Sox here. I know Singer was awesome in his debut, but he was also wildly inconsistent for much of last season, and also had his worst season in terms of ERA against these same White Sox with an ERA over seven in three starts against Chicago last year. The White Sox are not a team I have pegged to win many games, as I actually have Chicago losing 100+ this season, but they’re not going to lose every game and prior to Thursday’s loss, the White Sox had actually been in close games more often than not this season. Fedde’s been respectable and I just think there’s too much plus money to pass on here.
