The Seattle Mariners and the Miami Marlins meet Sunday in MLB action from LoanDepot Park. Here’s a Miami Marlins vs Seattle Mariners prediction. This will be the final installment in a three-game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for the game.

In their last series the Mariners took on the Cleveland Guardians. Seattle started out well with an 8-5 win Tuesday but dropped the next pair 8-0 and 6-3. The Mariners took another loss in Friday’s game 3-2. On Saturday Seattle rolled to a blowout win 9-0. Starter Logan Gilbert put up 8.0 frames with four hits and one walk.

In the starter role for the Sunday finale the Mariners will go with Bryce Miller. This year Miller is 6-5 with a 3.46 ERA in 15 starts. Over his career Miller is 14-12 with a 3.97 ERA in 40 starts total.

Over on the Marlins’ side, they played the St. Louis Cardinals this past week. Miami lost 7-6 in the opener of that set but then came back for wins 9-8 and 4-3 in the remaining pair. On Saturday the Marlins were out-hit 15-4 in the defeat. Shaun Anderson lasted 3.1 innings as starter with five earned on eight hits.

It’ll be Braxton Garrett in the starter role for the Marlins on Sunday. This year Garrett is 2-2 with a 5.35 ERA and 34 Ks in 37.0 innings over seven starts. Garrett is 16-19 with a 4.03 ERA in 65 career games (63 starts).

Miami Marlins vs Seattle Mariners Prediction

I’ll try the Mariners here, but I could probably go either way. Miller had a rough outing June 7 versus the Royals (5.0 innings; seven earned) but he’s been good in his last pair. In those two combined Miller is 1-0 with 12.2 innings and two earned. As for Garrett, he’s coming off one earned in 6.0 innings versus the Cardinals.

On Saturday the Mariners had a big fourth inning (four runs) and never looked back. Dominic Canzone and Ryan Bliss combined for seven hits, four runs, four RBI and a homer. If Seattle can keep that momentum going Sunday they’ll get another W.
