I’m on the Nationals in this one. Don’t get me wrong. Normally, I can’t stand backing Patrick Corbin. But the thing here is that the Nationals just continue to be the better team by a fair margin in this series and the Miami Marlins continue to have issues putting bat to ball against left-handed pitching. Corbin’s so used to getting smacked around by good teams that maybe facing off against a subpar opponent like Miami can give him a confidence boost. I just can’t back the Marlins against a left-handed pitcher. Give me the Nationals in this one.
