Washington Nationals vs. New York Mets Prediction
I’m on the Mets here. I’ll give credit to New York for taking advantage of winnable spots despite their struggles down the stretch to keep themselves in the hunt in the wild card race and there’s just a seismic edge in starting pitching in this matchup. Cavalli’s decent, but he’s had issues on the road while McLean’s been every bit as good as advertised and has yet to allow a run in his home starts this season. I’ll side with the Mets in this one.
