NY Yankees vs NY Mets Prediction

The Yankees were able to earn the series split with Tampa Bay by winning on Monday afternoon, while the Mets also earned a split with the Marlins on Monday night. The Yankees are 27-21 at home this year, while the Mets are 25-22 on the road. The Mets have been pretty solid over the last few weeks and they swept the mini series against the Yankees at home a few weeks back. The Mets are going with Jose Quintana, who didn’t pitch well against Colorado last time out, but he has been pretty good recently. The Yankees are starting Luis Gil, who is trying to recapture his early season magic. These two teams combined for 14 and 16 runs in their last first mini series and I think we are going to see plenty of runs here. My NY Yankees vs NY Mets prediction is for this game to go over the total.
