Minnesota Twins Betting Preview
The Minnesota Twins won 70 games last season and have made the playoffs once in the last five years. Outside of adding Josh Bell and Trevor Larnach to the lineup and Taylor Rogers as a closer, the Twins had a quiet offseason. The bullpen overall was revamped and that may not be a bad thing after a rough season. The problem is I’m not sure the Twins have enough to compete in the AL Central, which is all of a sudden become a competitive division. The Tigers are title contenders after what they did last season; the Royals are supposed to be good and the Guardians are always lurking. A 1-2 punch of Joe Ryan and Taj Bradley at the top of the rotation is strong, but the rest of this team is whatever if we’re being honest.
Joe Ryan gets the ball for the Minnesota Twins, and he was 13-10 with a 3.42 ERA and 194 strikeouts last season. Ryan is 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA and 20 strikeouts in his career against the Baltimore Orioles.
Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview
The Baltimore Orioles took a step back last season with just 75 wins and were aggressive in hopes of getting back to the playoffs. The Orioles made splashes by bringing in Taylor Ward and Pete Alonso to beef up the batting order. Chris Bassitt and Shane Baz add depth to the rotation and Ryan Helsley gives the O’s a reliable closer. Throw in Trevor Rogers, and the Orioles have one of the better starting rotations in baseball. The offense is exciting again, as Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson have protection in the order. The AL East is no joke, as we all know but the Orioles are back in the thick of things and have to be taken seriously. The Orioles should be fun this season.
Trevor Rogers gets the ball for the Baltimore Orioles, and he was 9-3 with a 1.81 ERA and 103 strikeouts this season. This will be Rogers’ first career game against the Minnesota Twins.

Orioles vs Twins Prediction
Joe Ryan and plus money are worth a look, as he had a strong season and gives the Twins a fighting chance each night. The problem is Rogers was better and has another gear he can reach in his career. Also, the Orioles are the better team overall with legit expectations. This should be a nice crowd with energy in the building. I’m just not high on the Twins, as they didn’t make enough moves to shake things up. It’s exciting times in Baltimore, and I’m on board. The price is cheap. Give me the Orioles.
