Padres vs Royals Prediction

The Padres haven’t played good ball over the last two weeks, and the Royals show up when they want, so I have no idea what to expect from these teams. That’s why I’m siding with the over. Lorenzen hasn’t been good this season, and that includes allowing 12 hits and 12 runs in his last 14.2 innings. In 47 road innings, Lorenzen has a 5.94 ERA and a .275 allowed batting average. Pivetta has good stuff when he’s on, but he’s allowed 16 hits and 11 earned runs in his last 17 innings. Five of Pivetta’s last nine games have seen double-digit run totals. I expect some fireworks. Give me the over.
