Padres vs Tigers Prediction
The Padres are getting the benefit of the doubt at home and King is a fine pitcher. However, as I mentioned in the first write-up, between these teams, as talented as the Padres are, they have games where they look like they just don’t care. The Padres are lackluster far too often for my liking and they looked awful in their season opener. You can argue the Tigers are the better team from top to bottom and while Valdez is making his first start outside of a Houston uniform, he’s a two-time all-star who you’re not going to get as a dog often. I’m going to double-dip with the Tigers.
