Royals vs Rockies Prediction

Game 1 Prediction: The Rockies are unbackable as the losses continue to pile up and Marquez isn’t here to save the day. Marquez has allowed 22 hits and 15 earned runs in 16.1 innings, and he has eight walks to go with 11 strikeouts. It’s just not good, folks.

Ragans has been far more trustworthy, especially lately, where he’s allowed 19 hits and eight earned runs in his last 22.2 innings. The Rockies are a tough sell these days, but it’s more the case when they don’t have the edge on the mound, either. Give me the Royals.

Game 2 Prediction: Same thing as game one. Dollander has three career MLB starts, and he’s allowed 19 hits and 12 earned runs in those outings. With an ERA over seven and a 1.64 WHIP, there’s just no getting behind Dollander.

As if it wasn’t tough enough to back the Rockies. Lorenzen has been up and down through 21.2 innings this season, but it’s not to the level of Dollander. Give me the Royals for the doubleheader sweep over the Rockies.
