The Minnesota Twins and the Texas Rangers meet Friday in MLB action from Globe Life Field. Here’s a Texas Rangers vs Minnesota Twins prediction. This will be the first installment in a three-game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Rangers vs Twins pick.

Over on the Rangers’ side, they played the Boston Red Sox in their last set. After losses 5-4 and 9-4 in the first two games, Texas staved off the sweep with a 9-7 win in the finale. On Thursday the Rangers blew an early 2-0 lead in the defeat. Starter Cody Bradford posted 6.0 innings with two earned runs in the start.

Texas Rangers vs Minnesota Twins Prediction

I’ll stay with the Twins. Probably not touching this one, though. Richardson hasn’t been pitching all that well lately with 11 earned over his last 14.1 innings of work. He’s 0-2 in his last three starts. As for Heaney, he’s 0-2 in his last trio as well with 10 earned in 15.0 innings total.

On Thursday the Twins managed just six team hits but made them count. Kyle Farmer (run) was the only batter with multiple hits. The bullpen came through with 3.0 clean frames however, and it was a nice opener win. I like the Twins to keep it up Friday but I’m probably staying away.
