Yankees vs Tigers Prediction
Schlittler looks like a guy who can win the CY Young this season with a 1.62 ERA and 0.92 WHIP through 100 innings. On top of the Yankees being the Yankees and they’re at home, I get why they’re favoured. The problem is we’re getting Skubal at a plus-money price. Skubal hasn’t been as dominant as he has in past years, but he still has a 0.99 WHIP and is still a two-time Cy Young winner. You’re not going to get this price with him often. The Yankees have also lost 8 of their last 10 games. In a battle of top-tier pitchers, I’ll take a shot with the more favorable price. Give me the Tigers.
