The Houston Rockets pay a visit to the San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center on Saturday night.

The Houston Rockets have been in terrible form as they’ve lost 13 of their last 15 games overall and they will be hoping to arrest an 11-game losing streak after getting routed by the Grizzlies in a 113-99 loss on Wednesday. Jalen Green led the team with 20 points, Kenyon Martin Jr added 19 points on eight of 12 shooting while Alperen Sengun and Kevin Porter Jr each scored 11 points. As a team, the Rockets shot just 40 percent from the field and 11 of 34 from the 3-point line as they did a nice job of hanging with the superior Grizzlies, until the third quarter where they got outscored by 38-24 to fall behind by as many as 28 points.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs look to have moved on from their ugly 16-game losing streak as they are now gunning for a third straight victory after blowing past the Pacers in a 110-99 home win on Thursday. Jeremy Sochan led the team with 22 points, 13 rebounds and three assists, while Zach Collins, Devonte Graham and Devin Vassell scored 18 points apiece. As a team, the Spurs shot 45 percent from the field and 10 of 32 from the 3-point line as they got off to another slow start and trailed by 11 points early on, before they took control with a 31-16 third quarter to erase the deficit and set up the impressive win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Rockets are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 road games, 28-57 ATS in their last 85 games against a team with a losing record and 7-22 ATS in their last 29 games overall. The Spurs are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games, 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a losing record and 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 5-1 in the last six meetings overall, the Rockets are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the Rockets are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in San Antonio.

The Rockets are again missing Jae’Sean Tate and they have TyTy Washington as questionable for this one, while the Spurs are still without Devin Vassell, Doug McDermott and Keldon Johnson. The Rockets have continued their struggles as they’ve won just two of their last 15 games overall and they just got blown out by the Grizzlies, while the Spurs have sprung to life with two wins in a row to move on from their 16-game slide. You couldn’t bet on either team with any confidence these days, but the Spurs have been playing well over their last two games despite the injuries and I think they can keep it going against this Rockets squad.
