The Orlando Magic will be desperate to snap their 10-game skid when they welcome the Boston Celtics to town tonight.

The Magic continued their downward spiral with another loss on Friday when they let the struggling Bobcats to beat them by 111-101 in their own building. Arron Afflalo led the team with 24 points while Jameer Nelson and Tobias Harris added 18 points apiece, but they just had no answer for Al Jefferson who poured in 30 points on 13 of 17 shooting, or Josh McRoberts who is not known for scoring points but made five threes on his way to 17 points. It's hard to pinpoint where the Magic have been struggling the most, but it's got to start with their terrible defense which has been allowing opponents to average over 111 points in their last eight games. With the loss, Orlando drop to 10-30 overall and 7-13 at home.

Meanwhile, the Celtics have lost 13 of their last 15 and were unable to get past the decimated Lakers on Friday, losing by 107-104. Kelly Olynyk saw some extended minutes and made the most of it, scoring a career-high 25 points off the bench but it all counted for nothing as the Lakers outscored the Celtics by 31-22 in the fourth quarter to steal the win. Boston will be disappointed with the loss but relieved to see Rajon Rondo back in uniform as he returned for his first game since tearing his ACL last year to score eight points in his 19 minutes if play.

In ATS trends, the Celtics are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 0-5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record, while the Magic are 18-38 ATS in their last 56 home games and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

Head to head, the Celtics are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in Orlando.

In terms of recent form, these two teams are pretty closely matched but the Celtics received a huge lift with the return of Rondo and I actually think they will be good enough to get over the line against the struggling Magic tonight.
