The Oklahoma City Thunder and Portland Trail Blazers meet Tuesday in NBA preseason action at VISA Athletic Center.

The Oklahoma City Thunder look for another scrimmage victory after just beating the Philadelphia 76ers. The Oklahoma City Thunder are averaging 110.8 points on 47.3 percent shooting and allowing 108.3 points on 45.6 percent shooting. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 19.3 points and 6.1 rebounds while Danilo Gallinari is averaging 19.2 points and 2.1 assists. Dennis Schroder is the third double-digit scorer and Chris Paul is dishing 6.8 assists. The Oklahoma City Thunder are shooting 35.5 percent from beyond the arc and 79.7 percent from the free thitem line. The Oklahoma City Thunder are allowing 34.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42.7 rebounds per game.

The Portland Trail Blazers could use a feel good scrimmage victory here after just losing to the Toronto Raptors. The Portland Trail Blazers are averaging 113.6 points on 46.1 percent shooting and allowing 115.2 points on 45.1 percent shooting. Damian Lillard is averaging 28.9 points and 7.8 assists while CJ McCollum is averaging 22.5 points and 4.1 rebounds. Hassan Whiteside is the third double-digit scorer and Carmelo Anthony is grabbing 6.3 rebounds. The Portland Trail Blazers are shooting 37.2 percent from beyond the arc and 79.8 percent from the free thitem line. The Portland Trail Blazers are allowing 37.7 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 45.5 rebounds per game.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are a young club that plays with a chip on its shoulder and they only know how to play one way whether its regular season or these scrimmages. OKC plays with a bunch of energy and is the type of team that wants to win these games to build on their confidence. The Portland Trail Blazers haven’t had much success in these scrimmages and it may take some time to adjust with them getting a couple of key players from injury. The Portland Trail Blazers are probably the better team and have a better chance at playoff success, but these teams are heading in opposite directions in these scrimmages.

Give me the Oklahoma City Thunder and whatever the line is.
