The Washington Wizards have been doing it tough this season as they’ve lost eight of their first 11 games, but they will be looking to build some momentum after arresting a three-game slide with a 128-107 win over the Suns on Monday. Bradley Beal led the team with 34 points, eight rebounds and nine assists, Davis Bertans added 18 points off the bench, Raul Neto scored 16 points while Robin Lopez chipped in with 11 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the Wizards have been poor on the defensive end this season, but they looked committed in this one and it paid as they were in cruise control after dominating the first half by 68-42.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs have split their first 16 games and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after falling to the Mavericks in a 122-117 loss on Friday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 29 points and six assists, LaMarcus Aldridge added 26 points on 11 of 18 shooting, Keldon Johnson scored 17 points with 14 rebounds and three assists while Rudy Gay chipped in with 16 points off the bench. As a team, the Spurs shot 46 percent from the field and 12 of 28 from the 3-point line as they struggled for most of the contest and trailed by as many as 18 points, before rallying with 32 points in the fourth quarter to make it interesting in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Wizards are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, 2-11 ATS in their last 13 Sunday games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. The Spurs are 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team below .400 and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a losing record.
