The Sacramento Kings play hots to the Miami Heat at the Golden 1 Center on Thursday night.

The Miami Heat have been in a bit of a rut as they will be hoping to snap a three-game skid after last night’s 120-112 overtime loss to the Warriors. Bam Adebayo led the team with 24 points and seven assists, Kendrick Nunn added 19 points while Jimmy Butler racked up a triple-double of 13 points with 12 rebounds and 11 assists. As a team, the Heat shot 45 percent from the field and 13 of 36 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 36 points in the first quarter to lead by as many as 19 points in the first half, before getting outhustled and outplayed the rest of the way as they fizzled out for just seven points in overtime. Tyler Herro scored 11 points with 15 rebounds and four assists but shot just three of 15 from the field while Butler shot just six of 15 from the field.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings are in a bit of a rut as they will be hoping to put an end to a four-game skid after falling to the Nets in a 136-125 home loss on Monday. Hassan Whiteside led the team with 26 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks off the bench, Cory Joseph added 22 points, Buddy Hield scored 21 points while Marvin Bagley and De’Aaron Fox each scored 19 points. As a team, the Kings shot 53 percent from the field and 12 of 33 from the 3-pointline which would be good enough to win most games, but they were always fighting an uphill battle after scoring just 20 points in the second quarter against the Nets who were shooting 57 percent for the game.

Looking at the betting trends, the Heat are 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 games against a team with a losing record and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Kings are 0-4 ATS in their last four home games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall.

Head to head, the over is 14-5 in the last 19 meetings overall, the Heat are 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and the Heat are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Sacramento.

The Heat have been in a funk over their past three games and last night’s overtime loss to the Warriors must’ve been particularly disheartening. The Kings have been in a slump of their own as they just got blown out by the Nets, but they haven’t played since Monday so they’ll definitely have the fresher legs in this contest. It’s hard to bet on either team with much confidence, but the Kings are a streaky team that can beat anyone on their day and I just feel they’re catching the Heat at the right time. Give me the Kings with the points at home.
