The Sacramento Kings and the Milwaukee Bucks collide at the Fiserv Forum on Sunday night.
The Sacramento Kings have been in a real slump lately as they will be hoping to put an end to a six-game skid after falling to the Bulls in a 122-114 road loss on Saturday. Marvin Bagley led the team with 26 points and 11 rebounds, Buddy Hield added 23 points on 10 of 21 shooting while De’Aaron Fox chipped in with 20 points and nine assists. As a team, the Kings shot 44 percent from the field and eight of 29 from the 3-point line as they rallied in the third quarter to cut a 14-point deficit to just three, before the Bulls used a pivotal 10-3 run to escape with the win.
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been out of sync lately, but they will be feeling much better after snapping a five-game skid with a 98-85 home win on Friday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 29 points, 19 rebounds and eight assists, Khris Middleton added 20 points with eight rebounds and four assists while DJ Augustin chipped in with 11 points and five assists. As a team, the Bucks shot just 40 percent from the field and 11 of 34 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get going, scoring just 16 points in the first quarter, before taking over with a combined 62 points in the second and third quarters.
Looking at the betting trends, the Kings are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games, 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight Sunday games and 0-5 ATS in their last five games overall. The Bucks are 0-5 ATS in their last five games playing on one days’ rest and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the over is 21-7 in the last 28 meetings overall and the Kings are 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings overall.
The Kings have really struggled to get anything going lately, but they are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games and they can pull off the upset if Fox and Hield can light up the scoreboard. However, while the Bucks have been below their best, they’ve feasted on the lesser teams in the league this season and I think that trend continues here as they win comfortably at home.
