The San Antonio Spurs pay a visit to the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center on Thursday night.
The San Antonio Spurs have been doing it tough recently and they will be hoping to avoid a fourth straight defeat after falling just short to the Lakers in a 125-121 overtime home loss on Tuesday. Jakob Poeltl led the team with 27 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks on 13 of 17 shooting, Dejounte Murray racked up a triple-double of 21 points with 12 rebounds and 15 assists, Lonnie Walker each scored 21 points while Devin Vassell chipped in with 19 points. As a team, the Spurs shot 44 percent from the field and 13 of 36 from the 3-point line as they poured in 35 points in the third quarter to open up a 12-point lead, before going ice-cold in the fourth quarter where they managed just 17 points to allow the Lakers to steal the game in overtime.
Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have won two of their first three games and they will be looking to build some momentum after rallying past the Rockets in a 116-106 home win on Tuesday. Luka Doncic led the team with 26 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Reggie Bullock each scored 16 points while Boban Marjanovic chipped in with 11 points off the bench. As a team, the Mavericks shot 46 percent from the field and 12 of 43 from the 3-point line as they struggled early on and trailed going into halftime, but they regrouped and took over in the second half where they outscored the Rockets by 59-46.

I think the Mavericks get the job done here, but they are 0-5 ATS in their last five home games so I’m taking the Spurs who are 15-6-1 ATS in their last 22 road games.
