The Indiana Pacers invade the PHX Arena to take on the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.

The Indiana Pacers have been in terrible form lately as they’ve lost six of their last seven games and they will be hoping to bounce back after last night’s 105-100 loss to the Lakers. Malcolm Brogdon led the team with 29 points with six assists, Domantas Sabonis racked up 20 points with 14 rebounds and eight assists while Doug McDermott chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Pacers shot 42 percent from the field and eight of 35 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start and led by as many as 12 points, before falling to pieces in the fourth quarter where the Lakers outscored them by 35-21. Justin Holiday had a night to forget as he scored just five points on two of 11 shooting while no bench player scored more than 10 points.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been on a tear as they’ve won 14 of their last 16 games and they will be looking to build on their current five-game win streak after taking down the Trailblazers in a 127-121 road win on Thursday. Devin Booker led the team with 35 points and eight assists, Chris Paul added 19 points with seven assists, Mikal Bridges added 18 points while Jae Crowder and Cameron Payne scored 13 points apiece. As a team, the Suns shot a sizzling 59 percent from the field and 13 od 24 from the 3-point line as they trailed by 13 points late in the third quarter, before exploding for 37 points in the fourth quarter to win easily in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Pacers are 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, 0-8 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 0-6 ATS in their last six games overall. The Suns are 18-6 ATS in their last 24 home games, 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record and 37-16 ATS in their last 53 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings overall, the Pacers are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and the Pacers are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Phoenix.

The Pacers just haven’t been able to snap out of their funk lately and their confidence must have taken a hit from last night’s loss to the shorthanded Lakers. Meanwhile, the Suns have been on fire, they’ve won five straight and just took down the Trailblazers in their own building. The Pacers are 0-8 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a losing record and they’re playing this one on zero days’ rest, so I’m taking the Suns all the way.
