The Chicago Bulls invade the Moda Center to do battle with the Portland Trailblazers on Wednesday night.

The Chicago Bulls have been in great shape as they’ve won four of their past five games and they will be gunning for a third straight victory after routing the Lakers in a 121-103 road win on Monday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 38 points and six assists on 15 of 23 shooting, Lonzo Ball added 27 points with seven rebounds and eight assists on 10 of 13 shooting, while Zach LaVine chipped in with 26 points and five assists. As a team, the Bulls shot a sizzling 55 percent from the field and 15 of 34 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 33 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, before pouring in 37 points in the third quarter to push the margin out to 28 points.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trailblazers have been in a rut as they’ve lost six of their past 10 games, but they will be eager to build some momentum after taking down the Raptors in a 118-113 home win on Monday. CJ McCollum led the team with 29 points and six assists on 11 of 18 shooting, Damian Lillard added 24 points with eight assists while Norman Powell and Robert Covington scored 12 and 11 points respectively. As a team, the Trailblazers shot a sizzling 56 percent from the field and 16 of 36 from the 3-point line as they poured 37 points in the second quarter to rally back from an early 14-point deficit, before they held the Raptors to just two points in the final 1:50 to escape with the narrow win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bulls are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games, 20-6 ATS in their last 26 games against a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Trailblazers shot 5-1 ATS in their last six home games, 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following a win and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 3-1-1 in the last five meetings overall and the Bulls are 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings overall.

The Bulls have been one of the surprise teams of the league so far and they are coming into this game with plenty of momentum after destroying the Lakers for their third straight win. The Trailblazers have yet to hit their stride this season, but they took down the Raptors on Monday and McCollum led the team with 29 points. This is a tough one to pick as the Trailblazers have won six of their seven home games, but Norman Powell is listed as questionable, so I’m leaning towards the Bulls who represent decent value as the underdog in this spot.
