The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Denver Nuggets duke it out at the Ball Arena on Friday night.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in great shape as they’ve won eight of their last 11 games overall and they will be aiming for a fourth straight victory after sneaking past the Suns in a 90-88 home win on Wednesday. Caris LeVert led the team with 21 points on seven of 11 shooting, Donovan Mitchell added 20 points with six rebounds and nine assists while Raul Neto chipped in with 14 points off the bench. As a team, the Cavaliers shot just 39 percent from the field and 11 of 36 from the 3-point line as they struggled to find their offense and scored just 33 points in the first half to trail by as many as 11 points before they poured in 57 points in the second half to escape with the narrow win thanks to a clutch 14-foot jumper from Evan Mobley with just 4.0 seconds left on the clock.

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets have been in great shape as they’ve won 11 of their last 14 games overall and they will be looking to stay hot after blowing past the Clippers in a 122-91 win last night. Jamal Murray led the team with 18 points on seven of 10 shooting, Bones Hyland added 16 points off the bench while Vlatko Cancar chipped in with 15 points and 12 rebounds. As a team, the Nuggets shot 50 percent from the field and 14 of 36 from the 3-point line as they completely dominated the first half by 66-32, before they poured in another 36 points in the third quarter to lead by as many as 43 points in probably their most dominant win of the season.

Looking at the betting trends, the Cavaliers are 1-9-2 ATS in their last 12 road games, 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games overall. The Nuggets are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 7-2 ATS in their last nine games against a team above .600 and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the Cavaliers are 7-3-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Denver.

The Cavaliers are going to be shorthanded here as Darius Garland is questionable, while Donovan Mitchell is being rested. The Nuggets are still missing Jeff Green, but they have everyone else ready and available which is bad news for the Cavaliers who are only 1-9-2 ATS in their last 12 road games. The line is quite hefty, but with the Cavaliers missing their best player, I’ll go with the Nuggets to get the win and cover at home.
