The Houston Rockets play host to the Sacramento Kings once again at the Toyota Center on Wednesday night.

The Sacramento Kings have been in decent form as they’ve won three of their last five games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after dismantling the Rockets in a 140-120 road win on Monday. Keegan Murray led the team with 30 points on 11 of 17 shooting, Malik Monk added 20 points off the bench while Domantas Sabonis tallied 17 points with seven rebounds and 10 assists. As a team, the Kings shot 58 percent from the field and a sizzling 21 of 41 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running and poured in 65 points in the first half to open up a big lead and they never took their foot off the gas, finishing with 41 points in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have been in poor form as they’ve lost six of their last eight games and they will be hoping to avoid a fourth straight defeat after getting routed by the Kings on Monday. Jalen Green led the team with 27 points on 10 of 21 shooting, Kenyon Martin Jr added 18 points on eight of 10 shooting while Eric Gordon chipped in with 16 points and eight assists on five of seven shooting. As a team, the Rockets shot 50 percent from the field and 13 of 32 from the 3-point line as they struggled right from the start and were trailing by so much that even a 40-point burst in the third quarter wasn’t enough to trouble the Kings.

Looking at the betting trends, the Kings are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games following a win, 7-2 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a win of more than 10 points. The Rockets are 5-17 ATS in their last 22 games following a loss, 1-7 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 5-0 in the last five meetings overall, the Kings are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Houston and the Kings are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Kings don’t have a single player listed on the injury report, while the Rockets have ruled out Kevin Porter Jr again and they are keeping an eye on Garrison Matthews who is questionable with left big toe soreness. It’s always tough beating the same team twice in a row in their own building, but the Rockets have been in poor form and they looked unmatched at times in their loss on Monday. The Kings were able to cruise after getting off to a quick start and I think we might see the same result in this one.
