Brooklyn Nets vs Indiana Pacers Player Prop Picks 12-4-24

The Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets face off on December 4, 2024, at the Barclays Center, with both teams holding identical records of 6-9. The Pacers have been an offensive juggernaut, averaging 114.7 points per game, led by Pascal Siakam’s 20.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. Tyrese Haliburton also plays a critical role, averaging 8.6 assists and contributing defensively with 1.3 steals per game. Indiana’s defense, however, has been a concern, allowing an average of 119 points per game, and ranking near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency.

The Nets, meanwhile, rely heavily on Cam Thomas, who averages 24.7 points per game, and contributions from Dennis Schröder in both scoring and playmaking. Nic Claxton provides a defensive anchor with 1.3 blocks per game. The Nets are slightly more efficient defensively, allowing 114.7 points per game, but have struggled recently, losing three straight games by significant margins.

Dennis Schroder Over 6.5 Assists

Dennis Schröder has stepped up as this Nets team’s lead facilitator averaging 6.4 assists per game. He is also playing 34.3 minutes per game, contributing significantly to his team’s ball movement. Schroder’s assist-to-turnover ratio has been solid, and he has had multiple strong performances with over 7 assists in several games, showcasing his playmaking abilities.

Schroder is coming off a 10 assist game against the Bulls and just a few games ago we saw him log 12 assists against the Hornets. He gets another favorable matchup against the Pacers that leaves a lot open on defense and plays at a fast pace. The Pacers allow 26.4 assists per game to opposing teams which is well above the league average.

Myles Tuner Under 16.5 Points

Myles Turner is currently having a productive season but has lacked consistency. He’s averaging 15.7 points per game while shooting an efficient 47.0% from the field. Turner is also contributing significantly from beyond the arc, with 2.0 three-pointers made per game at a 38.4% clip. His free throw shooting is average, hitting 70.5% of his attempts.

Myles Turner has failed to get over this number of 16.5 points in 4 straight games. This Pacers team is getting more production from guys like Siakam and Haliburton as of late. This is a spot I want to follow the trend and fade Myles Turner until he turns things around.

Cam Johnson Over 17.5 Points

Cam Johnson is having an impressive scoring season in 2024-25 with the Brooklyn Nets. Over his 32.5 minutes per game, he is averaging 18.1 points, shooting 49.0% from the field. His three-point shooting has been especially strong, with a 42.2% success rate on 7.3 attempts per game. He also contributes at the free-throw line, hitting 90.8% of his free throws. Johnson’s scoring is complemented by his ability to grab 4.2 rebounds and dish out 3.0 assists per game.

Cam Johnson missed the last game for the Nets against the Bulls but it looks like he’ll be back for this one. With Cam Thomas being out due to injury they’ve needed Johnson to step up on offense. He has a favorable matchup going against the Pacers who have one the worst defenses in the NBA and play at a fast pace. If the Nets want to stay in this one they’ll need Cam Johnson to have at least 20 points.
