The Detroit Pistons and the Chicago Bulls duke it out at the United Center on Tuesday night. Here’s a Pistons vs Bulls Prediction.

Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons have been in poor form as they’ve lost nine of their last 11 games overall, but they will be hoping to put a halt to a six-game slide after falling short to the Knicks in a 113-111 road loss last night. Cade Cunningham led the team with 32 points and eight assists, Jaden Ivey added 14 points while Simone Fontecchio chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Pistons shot 48 percent from the field and 14 of 30 from the 3-point line as they fought hard to rally all the way back from a 13-point deficit to take the lead with 37 seconds left on the clock, only to allow the Knicks to slip away in another disappointing finish.

Chicago Bulls

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last seven games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after outlasting the Pelicans in a 114-106 road win on Sunday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 24 points and seven assists, Nikola Vucevic added 22 points with 13 rebounds while Ayo Dosunmu chipped in with 21 points and eight assists. As a team, the Bulls shot 43 percent from the field and 13 of 40 from the 3-point line as they allowed the Pelicans off to a quick start and trailed for most of the contest, before they made their move in the fourth quarter where they scored 33 points to come away with the gritty road win. The Bulls will face the Cavs after this game.

Chicago Bulls Team Facts

  • The Bulls have won each of their last eight home games against the Pistons.
  • The Bulls have covered the spread in each of their last nine games as home favorites against the Pistons.
  • Seven of the Bulls’ last eight home games against Eastern Conference opponents have gone UNDER the total points line.

Detroit Pistons Team Facts

  • The Pistons have lost each of their last 13 road games against opponents who are on the first leg of a back-to-back.
  • The favorites have covered the spread in each of the Pistons’ last nine games at United Center.
  • Each of the Pistons’ last six games have gone UNDER the total points line.

Pistons vs Bulls Prediction

The Pistons are still missing a couple of players including Marcus Sasser and Isaiah Stewart, while the Bulls are still without Patrick Williams and Torrey Craig. The Pistons have struggled to build any momentum lately, but they were more than competitive in their narrow loss to the Knicks last night. However, the Bulls are coming into this one playing some decent basketball and they would’ve taken plenty of confidence from their gritty win over the Pelicans on Sunday. The line is hefty for this one, so while I like the Bulls to easily get the win, I think the Pistons hang around long enough to get the backdoor cover once again.
