The Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls collide at the United Center on Wednesday night. Here’s a Lakers vs Bulls Prediction.

Los Angeles Lakers 

The Los Angeles Lakers have been in a rut as they’ve lost three of their last four games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting beaten by the Knicks in a 114-109 home loss on Monday. Anthony Davis led the team with 32 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks, LeBron James added a triple-double of 25 points with 11 rebounds and 11 assists while Austin Reaves chipped in with 20 points and seven assists off the bench. As a team, the Lakers shot 42 percent from the field and 13 of 41 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in control when they rallied back from an early deficit to take the lead going into halftime, only to go cold in the third quarter where the Knicks outscored them by 33-22. Taurean Prince finished with just nine points on three of 13 shooting from the 3-point line, while D’Angelo Russell scored just nine points on three of 10 shooting.

Chicago Bulls 

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in pretty good shape as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping to keep it going after sneaking past the 76ers in a 108-104 road win on Monday. Coby White led the team with 24 points, eight rebounds and nine assists, Nikola Vucevic added 23 points with eight rebounds and four assists while DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 15 points, five assists and four steals. As a team, the Bulls shot 47 percent from the field, but this win was about their defense as they kept the 76ers to just 43 percent shooting from the field despite a big game from Joel Embiid who poured in 40 points.

• The Bulls have lost each of their last nine games against Pacific Division opponents that held a winning record.
• The Bulls have failed to cover the spread in each of their last eight night games against Pacific Division opponents.
• Seven of the Bulls’ last eight home games against Western Conference opponents have gone OVER the total points line.

Lakers vs Bulls Prediction

The Lakers are keeping eyes on LeBron James and Anthony Davis who are both questionable, while the Bulls are still missing Zach LaVine, but they expect to have Alex Caruso and Patrick Williams available again. The Lakers have cooled off recently, they didn’t look great in their lost to the Knicks and they are now up against an underrated Bulls team who are quietly playing some of their best basketball of the season. On paper, the Lakers should have no trouble overpowering the shorthanded Bullls here, but the Bulls just took down the 76ers who were riding a six-game win streak. Be sure to check the lineups before tipoff, but if the Lakers are shorthanded, I’ll happily side with the Bulls at home.
