The Chicago Bulls and the Dallas Mavericks collide at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday night.

Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls have split their first four games of the season and they will be eager to build some momentum after taking down the Pacers in a 112-105 road win on Monday. Nikola Vucevic led the team with 24 points and 17 rebounds, Zach LaVine added 23 points while DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 20 points. As a team, the Bulls shot 46 percent from the field and six of 17 from the 3-point line as they traded with the Pacers in a close contest, until they finally caught fire with 34 points in the fourth quarter to pull away and earn the win. 

Dallas Mavericks

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have yet to lose a game and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after blowing past the shorthanded Grizzlies in a 125-110 road win on Monday. Luka Doncic led the way with a triple-double of 35 points with 11 rebounds and 11 assists, Derrick Jones Jr. added 22 points on seven of 10 shooting while Tim Hardaway Jr. provided the spark off the bench with 21 points. As a team, the Mavericks shot 50 percent from the field and a sizzling 23 of 47 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest with 37 points in the third quarter with a barrage of 3-pointers, which allowed them to cruise in the second half almost unchallenged.

The Mavericks are keeping an eye on Kyrie Irving who is listed as questionable for this one, but they’ve been one of the form teams of the league so far and they can rely on Doncic who has hit the ground running this season. Be sure to check the status of Irving before tipoff, but assuming he plays, I’d lean towards the Mavericks to stay undefeated in this one.
