The Milwaukee Bucks and the Dallas Mavericks collide at the American Airlines Center on Thursday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in decent form lately as they were riding a three-game win streak before falling to the Warriors in a heartbreaking 122-121 road loss on Tuesday. Jrue Holiday led the team with 29 points and five assists on 11 of 18 shooting, Khris Middleton added 28 points with seven assists, Jeff Teague scored 15 points off the bench while Bobby Portis chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Bucks shot 51 percent from the field and 14 of 32 from the 3-point line as they led by 10 points midway through the fourth quarter, before getting run down in the final seconds as the Warriors drained the game-winning free throws with just 7.7 seconds remaining, before Middleton’s potential game-winning shot got blocked.  Giannis Antetokounmpo was a late scratch on Tuesday, and he is listed as doubtful for Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have been in great form as they’ve won seven of their past 10 games and they were riding a five-game win streak before getting stopped in their tracks by the Rockets in a 102-93 road loss last night. Luka Doncic scored 23 points with nine rebounds and five assists but shot just nine of 26 from the field, Kristaps Porzingis added 23 points with 12 rebounds while Tim Hardaway Jr. chipped in with 18 points off the bench. As a team, the Mavericks shot just 37 percent from the field and 10 of 39 from the 3-point line as they came out sluggish and never found their footing after scoring just 19 points in the second quarter. The Mavericks had a poor night from the perimeter as Doncic made just one of nine from the 3-point line, while Josh Richardson shot zero of six from the arc.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games, 2-7 ATS in their last nine games following a loss and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Mavericks are 6-2 ATS in their last eight home games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the over is 26-12 in the last 38 meetings overall, the Bucks are 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings in Dallas and the Bucks are 2-12-2 ATS in the last 16 meetings overall.

The Bucks were almost good enough to take down the Warriors without their best player on Tuesday and they’ll likely be shorthanded again as Antetokounmpo is listed as doubtful. The Mavericks were rolling through teams and were fresh off a win over the Jazz before last night’s shock loss to the Rockets. The Bucks are 2-12-2 ATS in the last 16 meetings overall and just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games overall, so I’m sticking with the consistent Mavericks to bounce back with a win here.
