As a team, the Nuggets shot 43 percent from the field and 11 of 35 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in full control when they shot out to an early 17-point lead, but they allowed the Clippers to hang around and it cost them as they wasted their last three possessions of the game to fall just short in a close contest.
